They are losing the least amount of any team in the west and they have Johnny Football. They already showed they can beat Alabama.

Pretty sure that is false. I'm not sure about their defense but I know on offense they are losing quite a bit.

Johnny Football is probably losing his two All-World tackles and his favorite WR Swope.

They won't be bad, but people are underestimating the incredible advantage it is to have 2 top 10 NFL picks at the tackle spots. The running game won't be as good for them next year and JM will experience WAYYY more pressure from opposing DE's.

5 points away from doing it this year. Schedule is easier next year. But I bet there will be 20 LSU posters on this thread laughing at the notion.

We can. A lot of things have to happen though.

1. We have to ensure that the offense is truly tailored to fit the talent we have. Coach Kingsbury said last night in the post-award press conference that there were several times in practice that they stopped the plays early due to apparent sacks because they didn't think that Manziel would be able to JFF his way out of them. They've now got 10 months to tailor it not only to him, but to the eligible backs, the new receivers, and that beast of a tight end that we have coming in.

2. Depends on how quickly the stud recruits on defense get into place. If we end up having a dominant defense, it won't matter if Manziel's numbers go down...and it may force his numbers to go down due to short fields.

3. Kicking game. Bertolet has GOT to improve drastically from inside 40 yards. He already cost us one game this year and almost cost us 3 more.

They will keep at least Matthews. There will be 2 of Bruce Matthews sons on the line next year.

You had a junk TD at the end of our game. That game was out of reach and you know it.

Those two tackles are GONE. Swope is GONE. The running game will take a hit and the opposing DE's are going to put at least twice as much pressure from the outside spots.

JM is a great football player. No doubt. But losing your 2nd, 3rd, and 4th best players on offense will hurt like a motherfricker.

"we're this many points from being undefeated."

Common message on the rant. The only problem is the more film coaches got as the season went on, the better A&M played.

Matthews is not. Nice try.

We're losing Mike Evans? News to me. I'm pretty sure he's a RS-FR like Manziel is.

Not a chance. Only reason Manziel was that impressive is because of aTm's elite oline.
