If you beat Johnny Football, your SOS will be the best in the country. Too bad that ain't happening.

Bama knows they just need to play no one and they will get to play in the natty.

lsu's OOC schedule this year was north texas, washington, idaho, and towson.

Washington turned out ok.

And the main issue with Bama's schedule isn't your OOC games. We all play cupcakes.

It's the SEC games that make it bad.

But I don't want this thread to turn into that, so let's stay focused.

**WARNING: Off Season Thread** Let's assume it's Bama, Oregon and Notre Dame. Or any other 2 big schools outside of the SEC (FSU,OSU, etc..)

With the strength of schedule being on the weaker side for Bama, could we possibly see an SEC team be left out due to the whole eyeball test thing?

No. That means we beat a good LSU team, a JFF-led team, and the best team in the SEC east. That will be enough.

It may not be fair, but I imagine it'd have to a pretty convincing case to leave out a team who has won 3 outta 4 last BCS NC games from a conference that has won 7 straight (assuming we beat ND). If we lose to ND, it would be much closer, but I think an SEC/Bama team would get the nod.

Plus the variables that could change in the next 12 months make it impossible to speculate with any sort of accuracy at this point.

very shitty.

year before included Oregon and WVU, slightly better.

Next year includes TCU,UAB,Kent State, and Furman.

Shittier still. fricking horrible even.

The SEC home schedule is garbage: Auburn, Arky, TAM, and Florida? that's it? I would pay to see two of those games, maybe.

oh well, turn the page. As a fan I cant make the schedule.

Does this also assume that Alabama starts the season ranked number one?

hmm..IDK. Will they you think? Is AJ coming back? IDK what everyone will look like next year except LSU to be honest.

Well, and aTm.

This thread topic is terrible because Bama aint goin undefeated next year. More than likely, the SEC wont be in the Championship game.

I think the chances AJ leaves is under 10%.

His stock has dropped big time. He comes from an affluent family in Mobile. Another year could help him tremendously. Couple that with a legitimate shot to win three BCS titles as a starting QB, I think he comes back.

If they start the season ranked number one and run the table, then it's a foregone conclusion.

If they start the season ranked below number two, it will get exponentially more difficult with the wild card factor being how good or bad some of the teams in question turn out to be.

So are pretty much all of your posts but we're not discussing that right now.

For the record the OP is an LSU fan.

I thought so to. I thought Oregon more likely to lose than KSU at midway point...but they both did.
