Yall really shouldn't make the coaches do that.

They "have" to do it once at the introductory press conference.

Mike Anderson started the damn thing at his, loved every minute of it, and drug it out as long as possible.

We don't sing the alma mater after every game.

Miles sings the alma mater with the student section and the team after games....that's pretty much it. I can't remember if Nick did that or not.....but then again, Miles is awesome.

Nutt would throw the drum major off the ladder and lead the band after wins, that was fricking embarrassing.

This place is going downhill fast. I know I don't help matters any, but we have to step our games up.

your entire fanbase doesn't help matters....except for a few. FMB, Sao, DC....and sometimes Latarian

That doesn't mean you have to force every new coach to make an arse of himself on national television
id rather it be in the press conference instead of a game. The only people who will remember the scene of BB or BP doing the hog call are Arky fans or SEC fans. No one else cares.

I'm trying to imagine Nick Saban doing a hog call or a Gator Chomp or even chanting Rammer Jammer...

Fan: Hey coach, Rammer jammer!
Saban: frick you!
Fans Mom: Coach, he's 10!

I thought this went back further than Mike? I remember Nutt, Van Horn, Altman, Pelphry, and Petrino all doing it at their press conferences.

Funniest thing about these is watching how uncomfortable they get while everyone else is Spirit Fingering with the best of em.

Shits a silly tradition. But I love it

It is probably the #1 reason Ark is terrible at recruiting.

Any cheer that requires a grown arse man to put his hands above his head and do spirit fingers should be banned.

It has happened, not in a while, Bret was the first not to wear the hat through the entire thing in a while, his choice, apparently he's not a hat guy.

I meant, instead of Long getting up there and "let's do a hog call" Mike just started the hog call like its time...

The spirit fingers are not part of it, people do that on their own.

The aaaaah ooooo part isn't part of it either, people again do that on their own.

We had the hog call, our fans would do random hog calls individually like Sooie pig during games after big plays, etc. You can hear the older guys like Jimmy Johnson, Jerry Jones, Barry Switzer, Pat Summerall, etc. do this on TV sometimes, we did this while every other Texas team in the SWC had gay arse hand signals like "gig'em" "guns up" "hook'em horns" and shite.

Wins by one point?

Comes from behind to beat team within last minute of the game after trailing for most of the fourth quarter?

WE JUST BEAT THE HELL OUT OF YOU....

Thank you. Spirit fingers are people imitating the cheerleaders. Although it does seem like a big majority of people do the spirit fingers part now.

More people now say "Go Hogs" in the fight song, instead of the original "Rah-Rah!", too.

I don't do spirit fingers, and I say Rah Rah.

I'm old school.
