Supposedly, it's the earliest they've called it.

Doing the math, there are just over 500 votes not in. Te'O would have to be 1st with Johnny not being on the ballot for almost HALF of those remaining votes for him to win.

First sophomore to win the Heisman came out of the SEC.

First freshman to win it will also come out of the SEC.

Not just a good thing for A&M.

I don't recall them ever being wrong. Will be nice to see a legit Heisman winner instead of a good but overhyped Notre Dame player.

No surprise. If JFF doesnt win it, the award has no respect at all anymore.

No surprise. If JFF doesnt win it, it will somehow tie back to favoritism for Bama.

He is deserving but history says otherwise (see AP and others).

I think that, were Jason White not also a finalist, that Peterson would have won it in 2004. Jason White and Adrian Peterson effectively split the vote, giving it to Leinart.

God I hope they are right or I will be forced to go on a rampage reminiscent of Michael Douglas in Falling Down.

Hopefully Manziel can get that awful acne taken care of before the ceremony.

The meltdown will be EPIC! I'm rooting for the guy, but I think he loses for some reason.

He should win it easily. Te'o is only there because of his grandma and gf.

If he doesn't win..it'll be a fricking travesty. If Teo wins....the world will end on 12/21.
