Hes so damn young. Would have to be the youngest coordinator ever at AU. The only other time I can think of when a coach was young taking over a offense or defense was Muschamp at LSU with Saban.

He was hesitant to say so at his presser, but you have to think he will. I'm 95% sure he did at arky st.

Yea he has 1 yr experience as a OC. I really hope hes just being a puppet and Malzahn is calling all the plays.

Yea I'm not really worried about the offense if Malzahn is HC tbh.

fwiw, Tate doesn't think any assistants will be hired back.

I was thinking about it and if Gus wants to call the plays and wants the offensive to himself, Why in the world would he hire a big name OC?

I'm not worried about his age.. With age comes stubbornness, so I think Lashee being young will work in our favor- he'll be more driven IMO.

Thats true but who are the position coaches going to be? I wonder who will be the recruiting coordinator? I cant imagine this kid assembling a staff for some reason.

When Lashlee was named OC at ASU Malzahn said they would be doing the OC thing together for the first couple of years. I can't see the mad genius giving up control.
