Notre Dame fans are raving about their front 7 against your rushing attack. How confident are you guys?? I think Lacy has a HUGE game

Their first front seven might be SEC caliber.

But what about their second group? That'll be the tale of the tape.

Bama -36 yards rushing.

ND will kill them like a practice field videographer. Tayow is the greatest defensive player in our time.

Tapes to watch for this is ND vs Michigan. See what they did to Denard and compare to what Bama did. ND does play 3-4 but Bama plays a lot of Cover 1 Robber, I can't seem to remember what ND plays because I know they have some young corners and have to cater to them above the rest of the D.

We can win without throwing the ball one time if we choose to do so.

Regarding ND secondary, didn't I read somewhere early in the season that their DBs were converted WRs?

It's because they're inexperienced. From what I remember in Bama D play calling the corners are normally what call the shifts in what I've called the phantom defense, where they'll show one defensive play then instantly swap before hard count.

ND has 1 Senior, 3 Juniors, 3 Sophomores and 2 Freshmen at CB.

Alabama's problem on D is that there are no real stand out players like Manti. Their strength is more like cogs in a machine than anything else, imo.

Texas had a good run defense, best in the nation, until they faced Alabama. Ingram and Richardson both ran for over 100 yards that night.
