There obviously is no proof. But long before instant replay cleaned up, to some degree anyway, the league's refs, there were blantant calls or no calls in bama's favor. Ask any old time SEC fan. It happened game after game after game, primarily to a large degree because back then, there were not enough college refs to go around & the league office used a lot of bama grads. That league rule prohibiting alums from calling their school's games is not that old. The Bear was a god back then. Do you honestly think, with all that is known bout his competitiveness, that he did not use any & all leverage he could to bama's favor? That heritage has carried over due to the longevity of some of the league's employees.

sounds like you've been living with the butthurt for a long time.

no one wants to move to alabama anywhere south of huntsville, either. are we really going to start a pissing contest about 2 of the worst states in the entire country?

I can agree that Alabama isn't the best place to live, but we didn't come to this site to talk about Alabama and the real estate market.

In 2012, Florida rotated off. Florida, of course, has a break out season. SEC officials, in an AMAZING amount of psychic power, accurately predicts this will happen when they first drew up the rotational schedule years ago.

The problem is Florida has been the most dominate team since the 92 expansion. They are and continue to be LSUs permanent team even though it is further from Baton Rouge than Bama and there was an opportunity to give us a different team such as tenn. lsu has and continues to play a tougher schedule. If you look at y'all SOS this season as compared to everyone else YOU would see why people are pissed.
There is way more to this than the SOS. It is in officiating and the cheating bastard that we the replay official in 2009 who "graduated from Clemson (I think), BUT was a huge freakin Bama fan so much so he spoke to the team.
You are a moron.

Anyone who thinks there's a Bama "conspiracy" needs to be careful about throwing around the term "moron".

I've never had it explained to me why Bama had 4 home SEC West home games in 2012 other than favoritism...

2013 schedule is a one time bridge schedule that sticks LSU with UGA (away)and UF. Bama has the daunting task of UK and UT.

This schedule was made by a SEC conference managerial type who grew up in Tuscaloosa, went to Bama, worked in the Bama Football office, and is a lifelong Bama supporter. If it smells like dogshit it probably tastes like dogshit too... good thing we didnt step in it!

Tele, if you go from the FACT of Bama having 4 SEC home games to the ASSUMPTION that it is an intentional favoritism for Bama, why are you asking me for an explanation? You seem to be filling in the gaps with your own opinion just fine.

Let me know if you ever have an argument.
