Charlie Strong turns down UT offer ...

Looks like UT is going to name their OC the head coach.
This is a major hit on UT imho. It does not look good that a storied, traditional powerhouse, program like UT could not land a big name coach.

The whole coaching search has been an embarrassment to the Big 6. If this is true, we may have to go David Stern and fine them for being so incompetent

If UT would have hired Malzahn I would have jumped off a bridge. Arky's guy, i don't know what the hell i would have thought. I do know that no matter who Arky hired, you dick heads would still have tried to convince everyone that it was a great hire.
So with that said...you mean to tell me if Arky went after Strong or Gundy they would have left their programs to coach yours?

The only guy Vols would've been satisfied with was Gruden. None of them were talking about Strong.

Arky did offer Strong and Gundy and were told no
This is a gut check for Vols fans. You say you "would have jumper off a bridge" if Tennessee hired Malzahn and that's fine but you're experiencing the alternative right now. Your school has been rejected by every coach you've offered, including Gruden's goofy arse who strung you along like a crack whore. Climb off your high horse and step down to reality

I'm hearing it all came down to some comments Strong was shown by Louisville administrators taken off the govolsextra site or something like that. A few hundred comments with, what I was just told, had something like 70% negative comments against Strong by people who claimed to be UT fans with some being ... dare I say it, very racist in nature.
