Does that mean AJ is gone?

I seriously doubt A.J. is leaving early. Alabama looked at Zach Mettenberger when he was in JuCo too. Just the coaching staff doing their due diligence in recruiting.

Coach Nuss is high on Alec Morris, but Phillip Ely would have been 4th on the depth chart had we not been redshirting Morris. Cooper Bateman will be here next year too.

Jake Waters.

Doubt he ends ups at Bama, especially if they just jumped in. He's an EE, and the dead period is coming up soon.

As if that matters.

Bama hasn't offered and he said the staff would let him know something in a couple weeks. I'm guessing they're waiting on AJ's NFL draft score. It's highly unlikely, but if AJ got a really high draft grade, then they might offer the Juco QB.

After the game he had in Atlanta, I doubt he gets a good score.

From what I've heard, he's 4th-6th round. If that's the grade he gets, then CNS will advise him to return and I would think he would.

Well he could redshirt and have two years left to play, burn the redshirt if AJ were to get injured. That would allow Bateman to develop. Then maybe we could rescind Mcleod's scholarship lol

I remember Jamarcus Russell's draft stock was low till he torched ND through the air in the 06 Sugar Bowl. I assume the same will happen with AJ. He's gone.

Tanner McEvoy or Clay Chastain. I would bet it's McEvoy.

It was Jake Waters...

ETA: And if I think the offer comes, I think it will have to do with a QB not named McCarron. Whether it's a backup or a committing early enrolling to another school, who knows for sure.

Seems like K.State will get him right? They need a guy to replace Klein.

He seems to be favoring them and PSU as of right now. Apparently he's being sold on PSU having 1 scholarship QB now and Hackenburg isn't ready to start.

Bama's response will have to happen soon, as he is an EE...

Committed to K-State.

Should do well in that offense. High percentage passer and a good runner.
