We hardly remeber ye defense. Gone are the days of slobber-knockers and defensive fights. Never again will Auburn have the #1 ranked defense in the nation. Teams will no longer fear playing Auburn. Now are the times of "we want he ball back, even if it means the other team scores" direct quoe from Malzahn at a coaching conference in Nashville in Feb.

I don't care if we win with defense or offense as long as we win. Also I'm pretty sure Gus isn't endorsing letting the other team score a td so that we can get the ball back quicker.

i used to work with a severe negi-tiger. He could absolutely suck the life out of any room.
I remeber him calling me right after the 09 Tenn game ended all pissed off that Ut scored in the last play.
NEvermind that we had just won in Knoxville and played real well.

The past 2 head coaches were defensive guys. They lost their jobs by having horrific offenses. I think an offensive coach was needed.

Hiring someone like Ellis Johnson shows a real poor commitment to defense
