65-37 record overall
35-29 SEC play
1 SEC Championship game experience
2-4 in bowl games

He came back into SEC same time as Les, so Spurrier has had 8 years to build the program.

Just look at South Carolina before he stepped in as coach. He hasn't been a failure.

I would say by normal standards, no.
By crazy LSU rantard standards, huge failure who should have been fired 3years ago...

He has made USCe into a top 10-15 program perennially. He has been a great success IMO. He hasn't matched his success at Florida, but that doesn't mean he hasn't done a great job.

Definitely a success. Not a legendary success, but a clear success.

The Legend of Spurrier took a hit in the NFL, and while this stint reminded us that he's still a very good coach, it didn't restore his legacy to the level of the Fun N Gun at Florida.

What was this post intended to stir up? The OBC took a program that was down and out and never had been anything else, and made them a contender in the toughest conference in the country.

Can you provide me with some USCe numbers before Spurrier arrived and then ask me that question again so I can ask if you have failed at life?

He has South Carolina in the top 10 two years in a row.

I don't think that's anything close to a failed coaching job especially when you consider how bad of a program it was before he and Lou got there.

GameCOCK football is at it's all time high. Enjoy it while you can. Once he retires and y'all go back to complete shite, you will fully appreciate the miracles he has performed with your turd of a program. Top ten 2 years in row is failure? At USCe? GTFO!

It's South Carolina.

If he did the same at Ole Miss, no one would call him a failure.

Im hoping he does. I think if he would have let Garcia go sooner, he probably already has an NC

Even Lou Holtz couldn't win there Spurrier has them with back to back 10 win seasons. That's pretty damn good at USCe.
