Upgrade from usual HS schedule.

Seriously though, NO. frick NCState and VT.. If we're going to add teams at least let them be good.

Edit for grammar.

The rotation is the same for all SEC teams. Everyone has a lock and rotates the same. You guys whine like little bitches. LSU WANTED to stay locked with UF. Things are different now and change is on the way. There is no conspiracy against LSU.

I rather see two strong football schools admitted to the SEC. Adding NCSU would be like adding another Kentucky. FSU and Clemson would be my picks

The point of expansion is to add new TV and cable markets. The SEC is already in Florida and So Car, adding FSU and Clemson does nothing but split the revenue, NCSU and VT add revenue.

4 4 team pods could get interesting....

play the other 3 teams in your pod....2 out of the 4 in your divisional pod and 3 out of the other two....

ON A FAIR ROTATION.....AND NO MORE PERMANENT OPPONENTS....

gumps need the tennessee game, put 'em in the same pod....

i could see something like:

East 1:

Florida
Georgia
South Carolina
NC State

East 2

Virginia Tech
Vandy
Missouri
Arkansas

West 1

Alabama
Tennessee
Auburn
Kentucky

West 2

LSU
TAM
Ole Miss
Miss State

4 divisions (pods whatever) would kill our playoff hopes every year. Not interested.

Yeah I would think it would be

North - Tenn, Kentucky, USCe, VT

South - Bama, Auburn, State, and Ole Miss

East - UF, UGA, Vandy, NC State/GT/FSU

West - LSU, aTm, Arky, Mizzou

With winners playing each other in a 2 round playoff like before.

East vs. West
North vs. South

Winners play in the SECCG

Something like this gives 3 division games and allows you to keep 2 permanent rivals and rotate 3 for an 8 game conference schedule.

9 SEC games, 3 OOC games

SEC games would be: 3 pod opponents, 2 opponents from the other three pods (do home-and-home, rotate to the other two teams)

Incorrect. 2012 and 2013 schedules were drawn up from scratch. Bridge schedules.

2012, Bama got Tenn and Mizzou, LSU got Florida and USC. 2013, Bama got Tenn and Kentucky, and LSU got Florida and Georgia.

Seems pretty fair, right, in a situation where they had full authority to change scheduling inequities as needed with no regard to prior "rotations."

And the SEC adminstrator in charge of the bridge schedule graduated from Alabama.

This isn't going to happen. Bama isn't going to give up their game with Tenn. It's time to accept they the SEC isn't going to take it from them

I like the VaTech pick up, but would rather FSU over NC State. We should have gotten West Virginia last year.

who said otherwise, I used an example, i think it sucks that we never got to play against Peyton Manning, I'd rather rotate.

The hallmark of someone that can't argue a point is to call the other side names. Please explain the difference between "whining" and saying you don't like a particular set up.

LSU WANTED to stay locked with UF

This is 100% false. When permanent opponents were first added, Bama and Tenn wanted to play each other, Auburn and UGA wanted to play, OM, MSU, Ark did not want Fla. UK, USCe and Vandy did not want LSU. Florida abstained, Joe Dean and LSU voted against.

Only some of our fans who can't see the forest for the trees and think ROTATING teams means never playing Florida again want to keep the Florida game.

It will not be 4 team pods give that idea up. Will be 8 team East West divisions. Move Mizzou and Tenn to west. The "tradition" would be maintained. Also give Bama VT just because

It maybe well worth it UF to keep the BIG 12 out of Florida.

F dat BS. We should not be in the region w/ 3 other new-comers. Yes I realize Arky got here in 92.

Put Arky in your Southern region, and Ole Miss with us in the West.

wait, wut?

What conference FSU is in, as long as its not the SEC has no impact on Florida. Please don't bring some lame argument about "recruiting" loses.
