Since 2009 Arkansas is the only other team ,outside of Ole Miss, that put up 30 pts on the tigers, and they needed OT to do it. Cam Newton couldn't, AJ couldn't, Gino Smith couldn't, Oregon never got close, but a man named Bo Wallace and his WR Moncrief were up to the challenge, and achieved this monumental stat. Pat yourselves on the backs Rebel fans. Drink your yellow tail merlot from those fancy red cups, yell slurs of gibberish to TSDS, and show off those red/blue bow ties. You've earned it. Moral victory this is not.

FTR Ole Miss has done this twice since 09. They might have lost both, but no one else has showed their determination vs the best dressed defense in the land.

43-36 LSU in 2010
41-35 LSU in 2012

Moncrief is a beast. We finally have hope, and as a long time Ole Miss fan, that scares the shite outta me

Hopefully next years game will be a good one too

moncrief could have easily set a new SEC record for receiving yards in a game vs LSU this season. Wallace missed him deep and wide open a few times

Don't forget Ole Miss also hung 30 in Baton Rouge in 2008. I wonder how many teams have hung 30 3x in a row in Death Valley.

2008 31-13
2010 36-43
2012 35-41

Nearly Everyone hung 30 on us in 08. UF and UGA hung 50+.

That was while Lee was playing for the other team and before Chavis arrived.

Congrats to LSU...the only team apart from NMSU and Alabama A&M that Auburn held under 13 points

Still 3 in a row, was wondering how that compared historically. Even in the 90s Florida never hung 30 3x in BR.

ETA: Ole Miss did it in 1997, 1999, and 2001, n/m

To be fair he hurt his shoulder vs Tulane and hasn't been 100% all year. Next year he's going to be good

Congrats to auburn, who love their program so much that they will use an Ole Miss/LSU thread to find a way to be relevant.

C'mon man, Yellow Tail is Franzia-esque. Ole Miss fans drink Kendall Jackson @ minimum

Hugh Freeze has a good offensive playbook.

Having Donte Moncrief on the team helps too, of course.

I can't bring nice wine to the grove. Maybe nice whiskey, because most of our friends' wives/girlfriends don't drink it anyway, but if we were to bring nicer wine the girls would slosh it all down, leaving hardly a drop for yours truly.

I save my nice wines for the dinner table. But Yellow Tail ain't half bad if you're entertaining company. Nobody seems to complain at least.

I can see your reasoning.

I'm all for it if binge drinking is on the menu
