Should the Bama lineman that H2H hit Murray be suspended?

I think yes. Shocked nothing has been said about it honestly. I guess all that safety stuff is just BS when the rubber meets the road.

It was a legal hit.

Kind of a cheap hit, sure. But legal.

Then Sheldon Dawson should be suspended for giving the three stooges eye poke.

Tough call. Looked like he led with his shoulder but there was definitely helmet to helmet contact.

No.

That's football.

Should've been a 15 yard penalty though, if they had been officiating the game fairly.

First of all...that WAS helmet to helmet...so a penalty is just the beginning. Also...it was on a QB...far away from the play....dead in front of a ref. Im not saying he should be suspended, but the no-call shows just how bad the officiating was.

He may have lead with his shoulder, but those fricking helmets collided.

If one of our players did it and you think they should get suspended for the Natty then yes. If not, then no.

Based on some of the weak PI penalties they called on us, if one of our players had made a hit like that with the guy standing RIGHT there, the ref would've likely flagged the play.

Still, it's hard to bitch about the refs when you give up 300+ on the ground.

Im not complaining about the refs... Im complaining about a cheapshot a fricking pussy took away from the play...it was bitch-tastic and should be reprimanded.

I think if your going to make hits like that, you may want to prepare to take a seat. These leagues aren't real fond of lawsuits about lack of protection from concussions.

Well there is something to be said about running full speed and keeping your head on a swivel during a busted play......And it looks like #3 for Bama would have trucked him on the other side if the lineman hadn't have hit him.

I thought it should've been a penalty at least. Whether he led with his shoulder or not, it was a big HTH hit. The NCAA has been making more strict rules against those sorts of things to protect the players. That hit was unnecessary.

It was not legal. It was H2H. And it was akin to hitting a defense;ess WR. Which is illegal also.
