SEC Allegiance Bowl Season 2012

For whatever reason, maybe just change, it seems the conference loyalty is not as strong as in the past.
Maybe the expansion of the conference has effectively caused this to happen.
My opinion is both new fan bases bring absolutely nothing new the table.
TAMU fan is "The Flagship" part II and MIZZOU fan is well, lifeless (think Kentucky football fan) circa and so damn separated by distance.
This is not an attack on each fan base just an observation about the bickering. It is less about "butthurt" whatever that means and more about acceptance.
Thoughts?

LSU fans don't want to support the conference, that's all. Its a case of severe jealousy. They want to be what Bama is.

I think its just more heated this year because of the number of teams in the top ten and so few bowls to choose from.
It's easy for me to say I'm pulling for the SEC in every bowl this year because my team is in the BCSCG, but I always pull for the SEC.
Hell, I even pulled for Auburn 2010.

"LSU fans don't want to support the conference,". Why should we? What has the SEC done for us?? Every school not located in Alabama has to take it up the poop shoot as Slive has to call Saban to get permission to take a piss. Treat us like an equal and we'll talk!

This is surprising considering the allegations surrounding the whole season. With that said, I believe if the conference expands any more, we lose our identity.

I'm rooting for every SEC team. The rankings have become a political joke (even moreso than years past). If A&M can beat OU, LSU can beat Clemson (more ACC pain lol), and Bama can beat ND, our superiority will be laughably obvious.
