UGA played 3 top SEC teams and went 1-2. LSU played 4 top SEC teams and went 2-2 and also beat 2 other teams that were ranked on and off this year. They both have 2 losses but UGA lost by 4 td's in one game.

There should not even be a debate about this. UGA easily.

West is and has been a better division. Its harder to win the west. UGA has went two years in a row in the east and has lost both times. Shows which division is better.

LSU/UGA both lose close games to Bama-draw
LSU lost on the road by a score to a UF team that UGA beat, but also defeated a USC team that thumped UGA.
-Advantage LSU
LSU also played a tougher schedule- Advantage LSU

LSU is your answer

Who was LSU's better win? Georgia beat the 3rd ranked team, something LSU failed to do.

Well if that's the case, frick you we beat Georgia

By 28 points.

But they won the division and lost to the #2 team, so UGA should be ranked ahead.

South Carolina was number 3 when LSU beat them. They are still top 10 and LSU also beat top 10 opponent Texas a&m.
