Our offense will be pretty damn good, especially if Murray stays. But our D will be inexperienced and raw. If CTG can get some fight out of them, maybe make them play like mean and dirty young kids, and put us in positions to win the game vs USCe and LSU then that will be a damn good job, IMO. We will have a few starters next year that will either be freshmen or juco kids that will be in the system for the first year so the early part of the season will be tough.

He was tested this year with a stud group of players but came up short mostly due to lack of quality depth. It was the best defense we have had in many years but still not good enough to play with the big boys.

I think he will possibly fail...because 2 out of the 3 seasons he has been here...we have failed to stop the run. Not only depth has killed us...but we have missed a bunch of tackles this year. I remember one play where we had cooper stopped behind the line for a 4 yard loss but he turned into a two yard gain. Swann had a bad game. It was his time to shine he was part of the dream team...sorry i'm not sold on grantham

No wonder we are not in the mnccg....we are 79th in the nation at stopping the run....giving up 177.8 yards a game....sorry i'm not sold on grantham....why is he being paid more than bobo with these results

They could all be tested and FIRED next year. Not one coach on this staff is really worth a damn. Tons of talent and NOTHING to show for it.

CTG will take a mid-level HC job somewhere, something like a Louisville, etc. after next season. I stand by my prediction that CMR hangs it up after next season. Too many factors pointing toward it- new university president, selling the lake house, and the like. Plus, I'm sure that he's emotionally spent after the circus of the last couple of years. The array of Chuck Oliver's bullshite is the prime example of the sort of stuff that will make him walk.

Not a single person on this staff will be fired before 2014. And for them to even be fired then, there has to be a major regression in what they have accomplished. I still don't forsee us losing more than 5 games next year, so everyone's job will be safe. You can't fire coaches that don't lose that many games. Your recruiting will fall apart and you won't find anyone(worth a damn) willing to replace them. Sorry, it's the facts of life.
