A&M is the only legit threat in state. Baylor, TCU, and Tech will never (and have never) overtake them as a program. We did it in the 80's and 90's, and we're about to do it again.

We were bitter in-state rivals for well over 100 years. That ain't gonna disappear in 9 months.
Oh, also the entire lot of them has bought into DeLoss' "We are the Joneses" line, so it pisses them off to no end that our program is skyrocketing upward while they're mired in mediocrity with King Mack doing his best Bowden impression. They truly can't freaking stand it.

They guy was an SEC hater to begin with and I think he's having trouble adapting to the fact that you guys upgraded conferences. Add to it the usual Texas smug attitude backed up with no results, just promises.

he's a horn so it's a given. When I talk about football to virtually every horn I know, about 90% of the conversation revolves around the SEC being overrated. They are extremely jealous and it consumes them.

I pretty much said as much in my response. How many top 10 teams did Klein play and who did he lose to? Signature win Bama vs Ok. Crickets so far other than something about me being an Aggy homer.

Its not so much that the SEC is over-rated, but that there are more shitty teams than in B12. The SEC is stronger at the top, but worse at the bottom. Ark, Auburn, Miz, UK, Tenn were truly pathetic this year. In Big 12, only KU was truly pathetic.
