Old friend, it was predictable and objective fans feared the worst. We knew that Bama had an NFL caliber OL and I worried that we would not be able to stop their running game; Bama had 350 rushing yards. We knew we were playing a Freshman at RT and the rest of the OL was not particularly talented. Sure enough we weren't able to run the ball when we needed to. Big games boil down to play in the trenches and coaching and what was surprising is we actually had a chance to win on the last play of the game. Unfortunately it was a shitty play call that had no chance for success and fittingly the non-NFL height Murry had the last pass tipped which sealed our fate. BTW, I agree with Danielson that Murray should have spiked the ball to give more time to come up with a better play. The middle was wide open on that last down for the RB to come out of the backfield.....
