An hour or so ago the guys on Sirius' college football channel were discussing that a deal has been reached that the loser of the game will go to the Cotton Bowl - regardless of who that is.

Too bad its not true. SEC East rarely goes to the Cotton.

If true wouldn't that put LSU against Clemson in the peach bowl? I wouldn't mind watching that matchup. LSU would beat them but they are a better alternative to seeing a bad big ten team.

Why do you guys think this is not possible? Bama would be a lock if they lose and Georgia would jump on the opportunity to go to Dallas. A&M is looking like Capitol One, USCe Outback that leaves Peach and Cotton for the loser of the SEC and LSU.

FWIW. Last night at his son's game, Miles stated in an interview that it looked like either the Cap one or the chicken bowl.....

Sucks if true. I don't like Clemson as a matchup. Same motivation level as Ole Miss and Arky.

I just don't think the Cotton Bowl would take Alabama if UGA wins, given Alabama has already played in Dallas this season.

I doubt they want to, but the SEC is trying to prevent the loser of the SECC game from falling too far. Of course, they didn't give a crap about it happening to us in 2005. I don't understand why they didn't tell the Outback to take the loser.

I'd be very surprised if UGA would travel well to Dallas.

No doubt, 99% we are in the shitty chicken bowl. Atlanta sucks! Clemson just got their butts whipped by USC...terrible matchup for us. Since SEC office is cutting deals to take care of everybody else, we should just give Slive the big finger and stay home and play in the Independence Bowl, just to make a statement. Cheaper, still is meaningless, and we will still beat shite out of who ever we face.

The SEC office hates LSU !

Wouldn't surprise me. Some SEC members are more equal than others, and LSU isn't one of them. I wish our leadership would quit playing nice. They don't like us anyway and never will. LSU ought to play the a-hole and call the SEC out on their bullshite at every opportunity.

I like the idea of turning down the frickin chickin bowl and negotiating a deal elsewhere. The $ to LSU would be about the same, and I am SO ready for Alleva to grow a pair. for the schedule frickin you gave us Slive
