I have a friend on FB talking about the Richter scale. He said Ricked averages 10 wins a season, which got me to thinking:

When you've got Vandy, Kentucky, Tennessee, Auburn, and Georgia Tech as permanent games, all you have to do is schedule two Wyoming/LA Tech types, throw in Savannah/Valdosta State for homecoming, and you're already up to eight wins. Add the Clemson game, which he'll win 2/3, usually, and he's at nine. He's also got a 2/7 chance of drawing one of the Mississippi schools as another SECW opponent. All that makes a 10-win-season pretty easy to accomplish, even for a mediocre Georgia coach.

Plus, if ten is his average, that means that half the time he wins fewer than 10 games - and that's with opponents like Vandy, Kentucky, Tennessee, Clemson, Auburn, Georgia Tech, the Wyoming/LA Techs, and Savannah/Valdosta State.

That's so, so sad.

Discuss.

Wyoming/LA Tech

haven't played either (though I guess we played Wyoming back in the 90's pre-Richt?)

You make it sound like we have never beaten a decent team, won the division, or won the conference while he has been here. Is he the best in the conference? frick and No. But you're splitting hairs over what is really an impressive but not astounding statistic.

In short, STFU.

Yep. It's been TN's worst run since before the Great Depression and Auburn had two good seasons in that time period. Plus, if you count that, he got to play Florida in the Zook era and some Fran/Shula Alabama teams.

Stop, you're making him look even worse!

It's kind of a puzzling troll attempt. Won't get too many bites.

So, who are y'all gonna hire when the inevitable happens? You think Kirby Smart will come home to roost?
