It seems the national media has a pretty strong opinion that Bama will win, but the tide seems to be changing when it comes to local media and regional media, with Georgia beginning to get alot of love by columnists and radio personalities. I think it's going to be a great matchup and wouldn't be surprised either way.

One day left til we find out who's playing for the National Championship. Hot damn.

Which region? I'll tell you, I would be shocked if Atlanta's radio and print people were picking UGA.

Was listening to the OD this morning, had on Matt Murphy from ATL and some chick. They, along with all but Barker picked Georgia, Hollis in the news has picked Ga as well. Pretty sure Barnhart picked Ga yesterday as well.

Most people know that Bama will fold like a cheap card table in a big game.

That's what I'm worried about. Can McCarron keep calm in such a high pressure situation?

But to answer Hunter's question, there are plenty of national folks picking UGA too. I like it.

Georgia is the more "NFL ready" team at the moment.

Alabama has the better coach.

The second fact could be the deciding factor in the game. Mark Richt caves in big time games for the most part.

AJ only crys around pots of spicy gumbo. He has sensitive eyes.

I'm surprised they haven't been picking them more. A very even matchup.

Everyone assumes Bama is going to win so the media is trying to generate interest by saying it will be closer than it really will be.

It's not hard to figure out.

Media guys aren't any different than us. They're just making guesses, too. Honestly, you and I have probably watched the same amount of college football this year as Barnhart, but guys like him have more credibility with their guesses because they are "media."

I mean, seriously, what makes Matt Murphy and Tony Kurre's picks any more credible than anyone on this board?

What the LSU/Bama & TA&M/Bama games showed me is that Bama can be beat by a top 10 team just like any other top 10 team. This should be a close game if the turnovers do not allow a short field for the other team.

That's simply not true. Look over his career. He's been pretty solid in big games. We just haven't had many big games recently.

Not surprising. UGA has been the better team lately.
