Hats off to Sumlin. Entering a tough conference and getting 10 wins in his first year. Good things happening for the JMFFs.

He brought a different style into the SEC. We'll see how he does next year.

Dude was a scary good hire for A&M. With their money and resources they could be in the hunt for a MNC in the next few years.

Agree with that but also we saw last night that style of offense is just one injury away from mediocrity. Also, I believe Sumlin will keep bringing in similar talent but I also believe the SEC stalwarts will learn to defense it.

Hats off to Sumlin. Great hire.

What I witnessed last night was a typical Big 12 game. Aggies offense and our defense.

Yeah, I saw that but I was more referring to who steps in to take JFF place of 400 ypg total offense. I dont think aTm would have faded to obscurity but would in the long run have dropped off back to something average.

I knew he would be "The One." That is why I worked so hard in the offseason to talk Arky fans through the transition of moving down a peg.

Years from now at an Arky Christmas:

Grandad: "Before hall of fame coach Sumlin most people thought Arky was a superior program to A&M."

Kids: "Stop lying to us grandad!"

Grandad: " No really. We were also this close to getting Gruden as a coach back then."

Kids: "Everyone knows we are a bball program old man!!"

I believe the addition of ATM for some folks in the SEC would help their SEC team in recruiting in Tejas. I beg to differ, where in the hell would any recruit in Tejas go to in Tejas besides ATM. Surely not UT. Whats left? Baylor, TT, TCU. ATM made some big gains this year, and the rest of the SEC are gonna find it hard to recruit across the Sabine/Red rivers. Congrats Sumlin. Glad we have another elite team in the west.
