Yep. Once and a lifetime type situation. Gotta get there first. Have flights and room already taken care of as our flights are refundable and the room will make me a profit if we don't get there. Tickets will be a tough pill to swallow when the teams are set. Not buying them before we win the SEC Title though. I imagine somewhere in the 5k range for the whole trip.

But to witness a UGA team hold a crystal football will make it all worth it. Will SUCK if we lose in Miami though, lol. I'll be drowning my sorrows in South Beach if that happens.

Right now and just after the SECCG are the most expensive times to buy the tickets. They will start to drop after Christmas, and then really drop 2 days before the game.

I doubt it they will drop, Its because its Norte Damn. They have a huge fan base everywhere it seems. They have alot of alum with deep pockets that want to attend the game, and their are not enough tickets to go around obviously.

Your reasoning is exactly why prices WILL drop as the day of the game approaches. Understand that people with big money like certainty in their planning and will buy ahead of time to get what they want.

The day before the game when all the big shots have long since bought their tickets the price drop due to fear of diminishing returns.

Personally, I will buy my ticket the day before the game or the day of the game and will go watch it at a restaurant if I don't get my price.

My best teacher ever explained it like this. "If you cannot walk away, then you are not negotiating."
