Auburn fans: will the team play for Chizik today?

He's toast, and everybody knows it. Despite the buyout and previous bowl seasons, despite the BCS title just a couple years ago, this is the type of season that would get even Saban canned. yeah, I know, "Saban would never have this season"; but the point being Chizik is about to be unemployed.

Do the players like the guy on a personal level, or is he a dick? The team quit on the season, but 1 game against Alabama isn't quite the same thing.

What's the feeling around there, regarding effort today?

Will add that a miracle could always happen, but it would be because of the players pride. If they still have some as a team?

Well I'm not around there now but that is a good question. TBH Chiz really thinks he's coming back.

Had they fired Chizik, they would have more to play for. Keeping him around is detrimental.

I guess, I don't mean play to keep him employed; I don't think that's an option at this point.

More of "coach didn't do this, we did; and now coach is gonna pay for us. We got something to prove for him", or the like.
