I wonder that myself. He had it made at Florida and could of continued to win championships. I still don't know wtf happened there.

That is why I ask. I thought for sure there was going to be some type of violations or something come out, but it never did.

Did he just know that his team wasn't going to be the same the next couple of years? I think his system may have been somewhat exposed in the SEC with fast physical defenses.

He had personal and mental health problems that magically went away after a year. It was a miracle and a great feel good story. I hope ESPN covers it.

I would like some UF fans opinion on this. Do they still have a very favorable opinion of Meyer?

SEC wasn't challenging enough. Wanted to give other coaches a chance to win it.

IMHO, He could'a sat back, hired an outstanding OC and DC, recruited hard, and been a CEO type coach at UF. The head coach of Florida, Texas, and USC never has an excuse for not recruiting very well. Meyer could of dominated the SEC east while he was there.

I kind of think so. Once Tebow was gone, they struggled and he had some obvious and convenient excuses to leave..
