I assume you mean Fran at A&M. He wasn't so bad at Alabama. It was the NCAA sanctions that set us back.

Tenn was already in serious trouble when Dooley got there.

A&M wasn't necessarily on the rise, but we weren't in the shape Tenn was when Fran got here.

It's Fran.

Given time, Dooley would have turned Tennessee into Colorado.

This.

Tennessee was in shambles when Dooley arrived after Kiffin.

I heard some stat a while back, wasn't there only like 40 or something players on Dooley's first Tennessee team that was there the year before under Kiffin?

40 may not have been the number, but it was pretty insane.

Fran. As bad as you think you had it with Tennessee, Franchione set the program back so much that Mike Sherman was an improvement.

Fran sucked - no doubt, but y'all weren't really set back. You just needed a JFF/Summlin injection, and look at you now

Fran had a good second year at Bama.

Too bad he become a bigger arrogant prick when he went to ATM.

You're missing one.

Fran <<<<<<< Sherman <<<<<<<< Sumlin

Franchione is currently 3-7 at Texas State.

Fran...not even close, and frick that guy. Imagine two more years of Dooley without any improvement. 5 years with Fran>>>3 with Dooley, when you're asking which is worse.
