Georgia fans, you do realize that Aaron Murray is 1-10 in his career against ranked opponents. His one win came this year against a Florida team that had 6 turnovers. Why are you so optimistic (delusional) about this being a National Championship year? The Bulldogs couldn't stop TN and struggled with KY. Why do you think you are going to curb stomp Bama?

2012

FL W 17-9
SC L 35-7

2011

Boise L 35-21
SC L 45-42
LSU L 42-10
Mich St L 33-30

2010

SC L 17-6
ARK L 31-24
Miss St L 24-12
AU L 49-21
UCF L 10-6

Perhaps if tonight (and every fricking college football season ever) taught us anything... It's that no one should be counting their chickens...

That's wayyyyyy too simple and level minded for most Bama fans to understand, unfortunately. They're already having a parade for another NC trophy.

This.

I watched Mett and JFF pick our D apart. Murray might very well do the same.

Facts are not well received on this forum.

Particularly when they suggest that your team usually underperforms when facing quality opposition.

No doubt there's plenty of cause for concern for dawg fans but this isn't the same team that got blown out in Columbia hypnotic techno fig music.

It all depends on how Bama plays. If the Tide brings their A game and doesn't turn the ball over, then they will win.

We should just forfeit.

Good luck in Miami.

Whatever. Georgia looked terrible against the only great SEC defenses they faced. Florida was a balanced offense away from winning that game. Not convinced that Georgia is better than South Carolina. Alabama was poor in the 1st quarter versus TAMU, but other than that they shut down the 2 high-powered offenses they've faced. Georgia has only faced one and struggled.

Mark Richt's biggest problem between now and the SECCG is how many of his guys are going to get arrested on Thanksgiving break. I put the O/U at 3

I actually think that it should be a great game. Murray has good numbers, but he has not played his best against good teams. This is his best year.

I really think that it depends on which of your defenses show up, the SC and TN defense or the FL and VDY defense.

I am not counting any chickens, but I do like Bama's chances against the Aubs and against the Dawgs. Bama would be much better off playing a prostyle offense like ND than a spread HUNH like Oregon IF they can win their next two games.
