If he wants a bigger job, he should be able to get it. What he's done at Vandy is unprecedented. I get the feeling he'll stay at Vandy longer if a big-time job to his liking doesn't come up after this season. I don't see him jumping at the first big-time offer that comes.

5 SEC wins and possibly 8-4 regular season. I think all 4 losses to ranked teams. 3 in top 10 and northwestern is the other.

Is beating Tennessee supposed to be impressive?

I could see him staying around and building a program there. The guy could be Vandy's Bear Bryant in a couple of years.

I hope he stays at Vandy for a while. Getting them to a bowl every year is a huge accomplishment.

James Franklin is the only current non-fired SEC coach that has lost to Dooley. That says a lot

For a program like Vanderbilt? Absolutely. If that man can get them to 8-4....it should impress a lot of programs looking for a new coach. You about can't do any better there.

I like seeing these nerds win some games. Franklin has done a remarkable job there.

I thought you were talking about our QB.

I was like, "What the frick. Is this a serious question? frick no! He should never QB again."

And then I realized you meant the other black guy...the winner.
