I am wondering how those that went to Tuscaloosa. What were your thoughts about the town/fans/trip/gameday etc? Things you liked things you didnt? Were people generally dicks to you or did you have a good time?

Wasn't there, but from what I read on TexAgs people were very impressed. Tide weren't sore losers and had nothing, but great things to say about JFF, Sumlin, and A&M.

Amazing. Fans were great. Very gracious both prior, during, and after the game. They appear to be great tour guides too because we heard where NOT to go in the SEC more than once. Who knew Baton Rouge and Gainsville could be that bad?!?

Three friends went and said the campus, people, hospitality, etc. made for their best campus road tip ever.

I had one ATM fan, maybe 65 years old, say this was the best road trip game he had ever been to, and that was before the game.

I can see Bama ATM growing into a very respectful rivalry.

I am in the band and it was the nicest crowd I have ever been in contact with. Everyone had so many nice comments about our performance and about how great our team was this year. I had about a 20 minute conversation with a retired Command Sergeant Major (highest enlisted rank) and he was one of the nicest guys I have ever had a random conversation with!

Great road trip. We went to Ole miss, Auburn and Alabama road games. Honestly one was better than the next. All fans have been great and all threes campuses were beautiful.

An SECRANT fan invited my wife and I to one of those huge fraternity houses before the game and that was the icing on the cake. What a set up!!!! The fans in the stadium were nice as can be even after the game.

I think the Quad is underrated. All you ever hear about is the grove at Ole miss but I was much more impressed with the Quad. It was nice and spread out, easier to find someone and less chaotic. Loved that there were a ton of clean restrooms as well.

The only negative was traffic back to Hoover. WOW! we stayed in the stadium for 30 minutes then walked to the car and sat in traffic 30 minutes trying to get to wings u two miles away. Three hours after the game we got on the interstate back to Hoover and it was still bumper to bumper. Not sure how that is possible.

Can not wait to go back. See you next year in CS.

Wow, Bama took a shot at Baton Rouge, yet so many of their fans have nothing but positive things to say when they come. Color me shocked.

Here's a tip, if you don't act like a jack arse, every SEC campus is a great road trip.

Best road trip I've taken in some time. T Town and The Strip are a bit smaller than CS and Northgate but I like that its bundled right by the stadium.

Tailgating was good, spread out but good (we are spread out too).

People were fantastic. Seriously, not a cross word and gracious before and after the game. Even got invited into the DKE front yard to pound some drinks after the game. Some pledge yelled hook 'em at me and the three ladies I was with and one of the actives told me I could come in there and whip his arse If I wanted to. We ended up drinking with them instead.
