Why doesn't Landon Collins see the field as a safety?

Surely he is a better athlete than Vinnie Sunseri or Nick Perry. I am truly disappointed that he has not seen the field in the nickel or dime packages.
Vinnie is getting exposed trying to cover WRs.

Freshman in this complicated defense. Doesn't matter how stro g or fast you are if you can't be in the right place at the right time.

because deep down inside he wants to be playing for LSU

I said the same in an earlier thread - it was a failure on the part of your staff to not have him ready this season. I just think from the get go they decided to go with experience & the players already familiar with your system.
On the plus side you are stock piling talent. I'm sure he'll be good and will probably get a fair shot next year.

Why in the Sam hell would you start this thread here

I think there is a solid chance he will take over next year.

c'mon now. Laron Landry disagrees with you. I know how you gumps can be but truly you give Saban too much credit. Bama's D is not rocket science and isn't good because of its complexity, you are good because you recruit the best players (like Landon Collins)

Maybe because he isn't good enough? I'm glad he didn't come to LSU because our fans would be skewering Miles for not playing him.

He might've covered that screen better.

Well our experienced DBs are too slow to be in the right place at the right time so after the last two games I will go with speed and athleticism over experience.

Totally agree and I rarely disagree with our coaches. Those two guys can't cover me.

Can you list the number of true freshmen safeties that have started on top ranked defenses?

ohhh sick burn.
The guy being talked about in the thread isn't on our team, he's on yours. And your secondary has gotten destroyed the last 2 weeks. It is a legit question.

Laron Landry was one.

He'd better be the starting safety next year. I'm tired of seeing Sunseri getting beat in pass coverage.

Bama fans breaking up with Vinnie.
Reminds me of Auburn fans breaking up with Trooper Taylor.
