Two years ago the Aggies were 9-3 and beat every good team it played once they replaced their broken qb. Last year was just a weird year.

I guess just being in the SEC makes you better!

Or, and I know this is fricking crazy, a new coach, new coordinators and a new scheme combined with seven new starters made us better.

Furthermore, using their theory, why isn't Mizzu competative this year? Surely a team that was arguably the class of the North over the past five years would do well in the easy arse SEC right?

I don't full agree with the guy, don't get me wrong. Not only was aTm a better team than they think also Mizzou has tanked. Just saying you have to understand their side. Everyone else has to be tired of the SEC love fest.

there are 4 teams in this conference that wouldnt be AT LEAST .500 in the big12. aubie, vols, arky, and kentucky. the other 10 would at least win half of their games in that conference

Tough to play like we're used to playing when 70% of our OL (from the 2-deep) has missed multiple weeks this season with injuries, and when our QB has both a bad throwing shoulder and sprained MCL. Just one of those years, everyone as down ones from time to time. We'll get better.

Screw that, there are SIX SEC teams who would win the Big XII this year. Out of the 10 Big-whatever teams, TWO would even be competative with the top half of our conference.

Kentucky and Auburn wouldn't sniff .500 in any BCS conference this year. Maybe the Big East.

I know what you are saying, but you have to realize the fallacy of their premise before the season and now. We were going to get mudholed this year because we had basically a brand new team. They didn't realize that was exactly the reason we are not getting our asses beat. Now they have flip flopped their stance and trying to argue that the same old TAMU is now winning big in the SEC, when that relevantwas not the case before the season. TAMU had too many variables to make any relevant comparisons from last year to now.

Mizzou on the other hand is a much more relevant example, but interestingly you don't hear that brought up. Just goes to show how how full of shite they are.

Also, if the top six teams from each conference played, the SEC would murder the big12.

Maybe the Aggies will get a chance to play a Big 12 team in the Cotton Bowl

If this went down:

Bama vs KSU
LSU vs OU
Georgia vs Texas
A&M vs OSU
Florida vs Tech
USC vs TCU

Would the Big XII win a single game? Would they even be competative outside of KSU?

Bama vs KSU - Even
LSU vs. OU - Even
UGA vs. Texas - Even
A&M vs OSU - Even
Florida vs Tech - even
SC vs TCU - slight edge to SC

K State and Bama would be a highly contested game.
LSU vs. OU would be a back and fourth affair
UGA is the most overrated team in the country
A&M gave up 57 to frickin LA Tech
Florida shoulda lost to a Division 5 team last week at home
SC would probably beat TCU

Then why aren't all those teams ranked in the top ten?

Its weird how all of the voters and computers disagree.

It's kinda of funny how A&M fans never did all this boasting in the BIG 12. OH thats right...because they couldn't beat the elites in that conference. First year in the SEC.....beat the greatest college football team in the history of the earth.
