2009 Florida ran the same offense as 2008 Florida with the same athletes and Bama beat 'em like they stole something. I wonder why the poster that listed the spread offenses that have beaten Bama left out this particular game

This is simply not true. 2008 Florida had this fella named Percy Harvin and the offense was APPRECIABLY better as a result. The 2009 Florida offense was a homeless man's version of the 2008 Florida offense.

And yet 2009 Florida finished the regular season undefeated, a feat the "APPRECIABLY better" 2008 Florida couldn't accomplish.

Are you seriously trying to argue our 2009 offense was just as good as our 2008 one? We would have blown out Bama in 2008 if Percy was able to play.

I wouldn't even necessarily categorize our 2009 offense as a "spread" offense. It was more triple option. You can't really be a spread team when you only have 2 legit receiving threats (and one was a TE).

A&M was better team,no doubt. Don't think for a minute though that the rest of SEC won't have figured him out. FL and LSU both did. We were late doing it though the blue print was laid already by these teams,hence,8 points the last 3 quarters. Sometimes game plans doesn't compete with guts and will to win,and A&M had it more. Don't think it's gonna be a cake walk,A&M fans
