Pretty much agree with this. Part of the reason play-offs are needed so badly.

I know it's probably egomaniacal for me to say it (not to mention obnoxiously "I told you so" in nature); but it does my heart and liver good not to see us in the bottom spot, as predicted by the collective SEC Nostradamus-hood.

They won on the field.. but I'd have to guess that in the event of a rematch LSU would be favored.

Why? They played a MUCH weaker schedule. Played two top caliber teams ALL season. Got beat by one and lost to the other. Makes sense to me
