Defensive Line by the Numbers

Starting(Second String) front four combined through 10 games:
Sacks - 7.5 (Second Sting - 6)
Tackles for loss - 12 (10)
Solo Tackles - 31 (15)
Assists - 45 (29)
QB Hurries - 10 (3)
Abysmal.
The last three weeks I have been in meltdown mode fetal position on the couch by the end of the 1st quarter. I noticed a few blaming the in other threads. I don't recall any of our DL even coming close to AJ, JFF, or Met. Are they that bad? Is it just bad schemes? Is it a combination of both? We will never compete with Alabama or LSU with this shite. A secondary can only be so good with a DL like this. I feel like I have been watching 7 on 7 the last three weeks.

I think Pernell McPhee had comparable numbers his junior season. Pathetic.

Autry played a lot better against LSU, but yeah, our DL has sucked all season. Quay balls out when we play him. I don't know why he doesn't get more pt.

Agreed. Quay should be out there as much as possible.

How is Cherrington playing ahead of Nick James and Quay Evans?
Trying to be gracious here, but after watching him all year, he can barely move, much less pass rush.

I never understand why cherrington plays so much, I haven't seen him make 1 meaningful play all year

I hate to say it, but the same goes for Caleb Euells. I don't think he has improved much if at all. LSU RB's ran around him like his feet were encased in cement.
