Robert Washington, happy to have him but good god what are these kids thinking that's way too early to be worried about recruiting IMO. Anyone know anything about him? I see he has offers from State and OM and has been recruited by everyone else, earliest I know of us ever taking a commit.

LINK

Long time till Signing Day...and alot can happen in an ENTIRE highschool career... but this kid is as impressive as anything I've ever seen(against internationally elite competition) at his age. He literally looks like Marcus Dupree.

If he is as good as he looks here, he is going to be hell to hold onto for 4 years. Tim Brewster already making his presence felt on the recruiting scene! Kid lives very close to Brew's family in NC, so likely has a long-established personal connection with him...

You must have missed the part about him kicking arse for Team USA this summer. fricking idiot.

A sport played in one country? Someone is living 20+ years in the past.

How many Samoans are already there from an island 4000 miles away from the nearest point in mainland America?

NFL sure wants a Chinese presence.

The point remains.

Team USA = INTERNATIONAL competition. Making what I said semantically and factually correct. Not my fault you went full retard without actually understanding the kid's background and are now trying to deflect attention from that.

Where would you like our 15 year old boy to go to find better competition amongst his own age group? Please enlighten me where that can be found.

Many of them, yes. I dare say most that participate in events like this will be immediately on collegiate radar. Especially those that dominate like our boy did. They will also succeed at a hell of a lot higher percentage than the competition among kids at the average highschool jamboree in rural Louisiana. IF they didn't care about trying to make NFL their future, why would they travel from all around the globe to play against the best in Austin, Texas? Exactly. They wouldn't.

Your argument is stupid. It's like saying that Team USA college baseball players aren't "internationally elite" because 80% of them never play a single inning in MLB.

He is a future 5*. Bookmark it. You don't get selected to TEAM USA by being an average running back. If that is "trumping him up running over the best talent anywhere" then yes, that is exactly what I'm doing.

Watch the damn video. It also shows him making a mockery out of his Team USA counterparts in practice.

No. It is well known that many countries outside of the US have a profound impact on the MLB and MiLB. Where as like 3% of players in the NFL are from outside the US.

ETA: this does not mean he is not good, just that your argument is irrelevant

You call my argument irrelevant, yet you fail to understand it, making your reply irrelevant. Where did I deny or argue that MLB has a greater presence internationally compared to the NFL? That's right, I didn't. Anywhere.

Does Team USA take lower quality players based on the level of international competition? No. We take the BEST AVAILABLE to us. In BOTH sports.

Dominance at that level is as high up the ladder as a 15y/o can POSSIBLY GO. Fact or fiction?

Playing for TEAM USA makes him elite. Playing competition from all around the world at the highest level makes it international. DWI.

You telling me that a member of TEAM USA football at 15 years old is less likely to make the NFL than a 15 year old member of Team USA in baseball?

Wow... so I just wonder how these kids got to be a member of TEAM USA in the first place. Surely not by playing many, many "New Orleans" in order to be considered the best in your sport at your age.

Watch the practice footage in the video of him going against fellow Americans and get back to me.
