Why is McCarron higher on the Heisman watch list than Manziel?

Honest question, no flame intended at all.

This kid has made a habit of breaking records. He can run and pass. He has FAR more TDs than McCarron.
I understand McCarron has been making good decisions and having a good season, but this Manziel kid is phenomenal.

And also, why would McCarron's "Heisman moment" be a designed screen pass to a RB which virtually any starting QB in major college football could have thrown?

Because JFF folded like a lawn chair against the 2 good teams he played

9-0 > 7-2. JFF can make a case today...we'll see.

Because Manziel is a freshman? And McCarron had the drive of the year so far in all of college football while throwing a 19-0 touchdown to int ratio.

The kid is a playmaker not matter how many of you hate us.

This. Alabama is #1 in the nation - that's why.

A&M wins today and Johnny is invited to NY at the very least.

What the swamp cat said.

Next year, provided that JFF doesn't crap the bed for the rest of the year, will start out as a media circus. I'm a die hard Aggie and I think I will get sick of it.

He may get an invite to NY this year, and that is about as good as it will get.

excuse me for forgetting that as much as I hate him, McCarron also has one of the most impressive stat in the SEC I've ever seen. 19 touchdowns. 0 interceptions

I don't think McCarron wins it or even deserves it but why does he get so much hate? He is having a great year but to believe the people otb you are a bammer for saying so.

Delusional Aggie, Heisman's aren't won by throwing for 5 TDs on McNeese State but game winning drives against rivals. Big time players make big time plays in big time games. Not athletes run up the score in paycheck games.

If we beat bama today why would he not be invited to NY? 10-2 in our first year while breaking a 40 year old SEC record then breaking his own record. His numbers are flat out ridiculous.

He'd be the worst heisman winner in my lifetime. Worse than Ingram.
