Correct me if I'm wrong, but Bobby's coaching isn't fit for the SEC.

Reasons:
1. Didn't pay enough attention to defense.
2. Couldn't compete with Saban.
3. He's never had fewer than 2 SEC losses.
4. Offense was easily shut down by elite secondaries and/or defenses.

Challenge gladly accepted.

1. Didn't pay enough attention to defense. Had an offense that was potent enough to outrun the defense 80% of the time.

2. Couldn't compete with Saban. If you could name any coach dead or alive that could go to Kentucky and compete with Saban, please list them now. Not 1 in the entire history of coaching so what does that have to do with anything?

3. He's never had fewer than 2 SEC losses. Yes, to the national and defending national champions after 2 years rebuliding a team in the gutter. Were you even serious with this question?

4. Offense was easily shut down by elite secondaries and/or defenses. When did this happen? Oh, you mean in 2011 going against the absolute best that college football ever had to offer? And on the road nonetheless.

If you honestly don't believe Petrino would be the best thing to happen to Kentucky football, you have something wrong with you. No, he would not win a national title- nobody would-but he would compete more times than not and give fans a reason to watch their team in this sport. Homerun hire regardless of whether he stays there for only 4 or 5 years.

Sounds like he's sending a message to Arkansas. Hire me back or play against me.

I do not want him either nor do some other folks closer than me to the program. If Mitch does hire him that may be a nail in his coffin that actually holds. he may have gotten the golden parachute from Todd but I think it has a morals or detriment clause.

Be a perfect fit for Kentucky, he could do the pressers wearing his BBVDA Compass Bowl Hat during the pressers after his second or third year there.

Would be interested in Kentucky, he would be closer to his investments.

Kentucky's probably the 1 school that he could go to in the SEC that wouldn't scare me. Maybe Vandy, but they're on the up.

Anywhere else? I'd expect him to make them extremely potent on offense within 2 years. That needs to be Kentucky's calling card, IMO. Tim Couch days.

Or lack thereof.
