There's an old saying that says it's better to rule in hell than be a follower in heaven, but I think that Texas A&M will benefit BIG TIME by being competitive in the SEC and making waves in the bowl season.
Wouldn't it be great if they played Texas in the Cotton Bowl and killed them?
Serious question, how many of you Aggie fans are happy with the move now knowing you may be running the Big 12 had you stayed? Who there could beat you?

They were chanting "S-E-C " at the end of last season, if that will help answer your question.
oh, and BTW, aTm never was "running the Big 12".

Rule the big 12? They went 5-4 last year. They are doing better in the sec than in the big 12. They havent been good in the big 12 in a long time.

After all the big 12 is easily the deeper conference. I would give A&m at least 3 losses in the Big 12 this year.

SEC... Better recruiting and more money. Big 12 is going nowhere fast. It won't be long before we are looked at as THE SCHOOL in the state of Texas. Thank you SEC.
