I think A&M has the best offense in the SEC.

And the stats back that up.

That Auburn team had the No. 5 offense in SEC history in total yards. This Texas A&M team is on pace to finish No. 1. Better than the Gus Bus. Better than Tim Couch and Kentucky’s Air Raid. Better than three different editions of Steve Spurrier’s Fun ‘n’ Gun at Florida.

The defenses you've played are far worse. Far worse.

The offensive lineman that told the coach the screen was open, and Yeldon led that drive. McCarron was a bus driver.

I too wish we would have played Tenn in lieu of Florida as our East opponent. Salty D you faced.

With the exception of your Fla and our Tenn game, we've played the same SEC teams.

And Florida's defense is waaaaaaay better than the Tennessee defense that just gave up 7,000 yards in one game. That doesn't equate to 5 points. I guess Nick was right; A&M's offense is better.

One team doesn't equate to teamS either. Congrats on getting alot of yards and less points to date.

Well now, Bama hasn't had the opportunity to go up against that vaunted Auburn defense yet. Once we go up against them, we should be able to take the lead in pts scored for the season.

We've already got it in league play, and will extend it Saturday.

eta- actually, we share it with Georgia. I guess that makes the Aggies 3rd in reality.

Didn't read the thread, but saban builds up every team he plays, the media agrees with everything he says and then when he wins its an impressive win.

And we haven't got to go up against Mizzou. At the end of the season, A&M and Alabama will have had 6 common opponents, I think we both know who will have put up more points.

Be sure you take out any defensive and special team points you have if you are using points to compare offenses. Fairly certain that would change the big 5 point advantage you have. ;)

There's a reason that metric isn't used.

Congrats on your points, while on the couch watching Alabama handily beat Georgia in the SECCG.

You keep count of the points, we'll keep count of the hardware. Sound like a deal?
