This was just last night not the 1960s. Someone get Wright Thompson on the phone, so he can explain it all. Looks like they really havent changed that much.

Pix: Ole Miss post-election disturbance. Cops eventually stopped racist taunts, rock-throwing by "hundreds" of students.
These were prob just out if state protesters

Piece says nothing about which side did what. I would bet money it was flowing from both sides.

Only a small group of students were the ones doing the protesting. Everyone else just heard the word "riot" so they wanted to come see.
Social media is a bitch. This got blown out of proportion and now everyone has a chance to hate on mississippi and ole miss. I wish the students that protested would leave ole miss and never come back. I'm tired of this crap happening.

They're standing around because the photograph makes them stand still.

Looks like 200K to me, like the A&M game day at the grove.

Oh no! Was there a political protest? When will they learn not to speak out politically?

I'm still waiting for the Ole Miss fans (DCRebel and Rebelgator) to come and tell me the same thing would have happened in Starkville last night. Oh wait.

Political protest is fine. Throwing rocks and yelling racial slurs at our President is not a political protest.
