Looking like he could end up at Auburn. 7 Months ago, he probably thought his life was ruined. Now it looks like he'll be parlaying his mistakes into a major career upgrade.

Will be interesting to see Bobby at an SEC program capable of competing with the big boys.

I was thinking this a month ago. Arkansas has hit the skids, and I don't think ANYONE believes that would have been the case under Petrino. He actually gets a boost in the appearance of his coaching ability, even though he takes a shot for his integrity.

compared to what schools? Auburn's only had 5 coaches in the last 60 years.

Arkansas is never going to be able to compete in the SEC West. They don't have the recruiting base. Petrino at Auburn is pretty scary.

Arky has full state support, Auburn has like 10% state support, 90% are Bama fans. Plus what parent would let their kid play for petrino now? AU would be getting 2 star kids.

Auburn's last 3 coaches (4 if you count Chizik) haven't exactly gone out with a bang at the end of their tenures.
