Yeh, he seems to have good instinct. Like when he rolled out with the RB to cover the screen.

AWESOME! I went to the same highschool as Bauer and he was impressive even when I was a senior (and he was a freshman)! Hope to see him in tiger black and gold!

FWIW, a lot of our early recruits either cut off or limited their recruitment after committing to the Tigers. There would probably be about 3-4 more 4 stars had they played the recruiting game.
On a positive note, our DL is bringing in 3 guys already 300+ lbs. They only have 3 guys at 300+ lbs on the current roster.
If we can't finish in the top 25 in next year's recruiting, I'll start getting worried. We have a LOT of talented players (especially OL) from Missouri and seem to be doing well early on with some out of state 4* recruits.

Regardless of whether Pinkel and staff look at stars or rankings, it's nice to see that the majority of players offered for 2014 so far are 4 or 5 stars.

It's bull shite when he says they don't look at stars. He says that when it's convenient because we're pulling in 2 and 3 star players with an occasional 4 star. On the flip side, he not only looked at it but sure as hell told us about stars and rankings when we pulled in DGB. So he talks about them when it's convenient to make him look better and ignores them when it will make him look bad.

I would like to know what CGP definition of "works" is. He always says what we do works. Our Process works. We have had strong years yes but the guy has only coached in ONE conference title game. Of course he is not gonna say hes disappointed with this years recruiting class because that could be taking a shot at the kids you did sign. But still would like to see some aggression out of him this year. Would love to sign the two big OL from MO this year. Bauer and Johnson, dudes are horses/
