Ups, Downs of latest postional rankings

LINK

Notable dropper: Rafe Peavey, Bolivar, Mo. (From No. 4 to No. 10) Struggles on the field led to Peavy, who is committed to Arkansas, falling six spots.

Notable riser: Dalvin Warmack, Blue Springs, Mo. (From No. 15 to No. 10)

Another big mover was Missouri commit Trevon Walters, who climbed from out of the rankings to No. 14.

Notable dropper: Jimmie Swain, Olathe, Kan. North (From No. 20 to No. 24)

Florida prospect Sharieff Rhaheed, who moved up five spots to No. 40

History makes me worry Sawyer goes to SC. But I feel like he really likes Mizzou. Watching interviews with the kid, his eyes light up when a question regarding Mizzou is asked. Him and Nate are best friends. Not saying we get him and I am not making a prediction. But I like our chances.

He probably has a legitimate shot at playing time right away, especially if we lose Ealy this year. I could be wrong, but then all we have coming back is Ray(Junior), Golden (Senior) and Loud (Redshirt Freshman). Who knows what we have in Loud and the only other DE commit is McWilliams. So, I'd imagine there would be a legitimate shot at playing time for one if not both of the incoming freshman at DE. Solid returning 2 starters but kind of thin after that.

On Golden, I have seen several scouts say he is the best pro prospect of our DE's because his size and speed will translate better as an NFL OLB and he can still put his hand in the ground to rush the passer. Wouldn't be surprised at all if he has a 10 sack year next year.

And yeah, if sawyer comes in and works his tail off he has a very good chance to play next year. I think Pinkel saw a few Freshman make plays this year and will be more trusting.

How can Nate Brown not look at DGB's performance and not say, "that's me in 2015"?

Does anyone doubt DGB will dominate with Maty Mauk in 2014 and go pro? Then Nate Brown ascends...

And if you're DE, why wouldn't you want to play at Mizzou? We have the DPOY in the SEC, and another expected to go to the NFL. Plus a string of DL sent to the league over the last few years. Hope Sawyer sees what we do!

I agree I think Brown stays. Saw an interview from him Friday where he talked a lot about how he was excited to see the auburn game and was excited to take his official visit to Mizzou. Said he did not have official visits to SCAR or UGA.

Very well spoken, bright kid too by the way.

K-State has 3 kids committed from Blue Springs. BSHS has been some what of a kU/KSU pipeline. Their HC is a former Beaker.

All 3 seem to be having some itchy feet.

Elijah Lee 3stars DE
Kaleb Prewett 3stars DB
Dalvin Warmack 3stars RB

We are also trying to flip Warmack.

We're not the only program trying to get them. Okie Lite is also working on them.
