In 1899 the Sewanee Tigers rolled through the college football world, outscoring opponents 322-10 with a finishing record of 12-0. In one 6 day stretch, Sewanee took down Texas, Texas A&M, Tulane, LSU and Ole Miss... all on the road.
In the next to last game of the year, a scrappy Auburn squad scored the only points scored against Sewanee that season in a narrow 11-10 loss.
The Iron Bowl is not so scary now is it?

If Auburn is having to go back over 110 years to find some hope for winning more than 1 more game this year, the damage is already done.
