word.

some people need to grow a pair.

FWIW, the fact that you're NOT hear rumors of coach's names isn't necessarily a bad thing.

OK, I'll be "that" guy...I have no hope of us hiring a good coach. I have no hope of us getting rid of Jay Jacobs. I have no hope of our recruits staying committed. I have no hope of us competing in the SEC for a long time. And if Chizik doesn't get the boot, I will supply the bleach.

It is ironic coming from possibly the most manic poster on this site.

GFY, bitch. There are more Auburn fans with a panicky attitude than an "oh, everything will be OK" like you always seem to have.

Ha. Easy big fella. I'm definitely not on the everything will be ok train. I'm ready for Chizik, Jacobs and Jackson to hit the road sooner rather than later.

Just because you tend to be a bit of a reactionary, to say the least, doesn't mean folks like me aren't more than ready for a change.

I was being sarcastically serious with my post in this thread. I really don't have faith in us hiring a good coach if Jay Jacobs is still here, for all we know they might vote to keep Chizik here another year and miss out on a damn good head coach that's job-less. If Jay Jacobs is gone, we have a better chance. However, I haven't read anything that leads me to believe Jay Jacobs will also be let go. The fact of us sucking in meaningful every sport remains, though.

Options
1)Jay and Gene stay...(1%)
2)Jay and Gene fired.. (50%)
3)Jay stays, Gene Fired...(49%)

Some may change the percentage amounts, but I think this is where we stand today.

The problem with option 2 is that who would actually hire the new coach.
