If Tyler Russell had gone to Alabama, who would be the better QB? Tyler or AJ?

I'll take the guy who is 21-1 as a starter.

AJ, but Russell would probably still win a NC.

If they were both in Alabama's system, would Tyler give AJ a run for his money?

Tyler Russell wouldn't cry like a little baby. That we do know.

He would have made a solid backup.

Tyler Russell is probably just as good if not better than Greg McElroy as a QB. He's no A.J. McCarron though.

If Johnny Football had gone to Alabama, the world of college football would have shut down completely.

He also would've packed it up by the 3rd quarter. Russell isn't anything special nor remotely clutch.

Tyler would clearly be a whole lot better than he is now under Bama coaches than at State. Coming out of high school they were pretty evenly rated. I think we would've for sure seen a competition between the two last year. Russell would also be better under Bama's offense than than State's offense anyways. I think you could make an argument that Tyler has the stronger arm but a little less accurate, but AJ's decision making would give him the edge to secure the starting spot last year.
