Thought this was pretty good especially about Jackson kissing arses and asking players to pray for their jobs. LINK

I read it and my take is why would 3 people that have supposedly already been told they weren't coming back be campaigning to keep a job they already know isn't there. It's pretty obvious to me that a decision hasn't been made and we are going to have to wait until the 1st week of Dec to see if changes will be made.

its quite obvious to me that our fanbase is fractured in dealing with JJ/TJ/CGC... the 40 and under crowd asks why he hasnt already been fired... those 50 and above seem to be sitting on the fence / leaning towards retaining them all due to the BCS title....

I was always one to defend Chizik about only winning the title due to Cam.After this season I have realized that yes Cam had a lot to do with it but Tubb's senior class was the real factor and Chizik is really no better than his 5-19 record if that makes any sense.

Agree.

I have a family friend (over 50) who wants to keep them all and fire the OC. He got pissed and started yelling when I mentioned people getting fired.

the younger generation AU fans have moved on from that awe shucks passive attitude to an agressive assertive style needed to compete in the current SEC... the older AU generations may think they have our best interest in heart but their decision making really lacks in todays business oriented sporting world...

I am over 50, my father in law is over 75... we want them gone ASAP....

In fact I know of only one person that wants to keep them... ONE.

My 75 year old grandpa wanted Chizik gone in '09. Said Auburn hired the worst coach in college football.

I'm over 50 as well, a Barfield era survivor, and I think anything less than cleaning house in the AD will be a disaster.

My 81-year-old pop (API '53),. who was a student during the only two seasons in AU history worse than this one, is in total agreement.

In fact I've yet to meet any AU fan, of any age, who thinks Chiz deserves another season.

With Jackson kissing every arse he could get his lips on, the football team was doing him few favors in the first half.

I literally laughed out loud when I read that.
