About as simple as that. Still the 2 best teams in college FB hands down . Norte Dame, Oregon, are the redheaded stepchild .

I don't know about that. LSU looked like a top 2 team Saturday night but they haven't looked that good for most of the season. Have to wait and see if they've turned a corner or if it was an anomaly.

LSU isn't a better team than Alabama. A team playing better in a single game, especially one they lost at home, doesn't make them the better team. It just means they played better in a single game. And they still lost. LSU has lost 2 games this year; Alabama has lost none. Alabama is a better team than LSU, period.

LSU played the better game. I don't think it's fair to call them the better team after Bama won AT lsu. Those 2 teams are as even as teams can be.

I'm not sure why everyone is hammering CLM so hard for taking chances. I'm glad we have a coach with balls.

Hmmmmmm where have I heard this?

Seems like that is a reversal of what most bama fans said last year after our FG win in November.

So what is it? Whatever validates your opinion?

They rose to the occasion . Which is what good teams do. Name me a team other than LSU who would have been able to come back From 11 down against Bama .

My thoughts as well. He played to win. If they want to get upset, then get upset at Copeland for killing the momentum in the first half with his personal foul, get upset at WR's not catching the ball in the first half, get upset at Loston taking bad angles, or at Chavis for his prevent defense. Miles took a few gambles that fell short, but how many were wanting us to fake, go for it, or onside kick? I know plenty were, since I was surrounded by some calling for it.

Actually, they're quite different. Last year, Alabama and LSU both dominated every other opponent they faced during the regular season, AND Bama outplayed LSU during the game.

This year, Alabama has dominated every opponent except LSU, LSU has struggled against the likes of Auburn and Towson, lost to Florida, and then outplayed Bama during the game.

If you can't see the difference then you're even dumber than I previously thought (and that's saying something).

As proven by the prevent defense at the end.

Not at all actually. Both teams were undefeated in that game and there was a rematch in which Alabama proved that they were in fact the better team.

LSU played their best game of the season while Alabama played their worst, and LSU still lost for the second time in a row, at night in their home state. Alabama is on track to win their 3rd championship since LSU last won one. Has now beaten LSU in 4 out of the last 6 matchups. Alabama > LSU.

Well I don't see the difference as I listed LSU/Bama where as you, being your bitch self, as usual decided to list games that had nothing to do with the two regular season matchups of bama/LSU from the past two years.

I didn't know blitzing was part of the prevent defense. They scored on a screen.. how does a screen work against a prevent defense.

CLM played to win all the way until the end.

No it's pretty much the same stances as last year only reversed regardless of records.

Regardless of records? You're trying to make an argument about who's the better team and say something like "regardless of records."

Being proud of the team for showing up and outplaying a better team is one thing, but some of you guys need to pump the brakes. Alabama was better than LSU last year. Alabama is better than LSU this year. Really is that simple.
