Mike Summers is a pretty good line coach. I hope we can retain him.
And honestly, Joker is a pretty good OC. I can't knock him for everything as of late if I don't acknowledge that his offense was pretty damn good in bowl years especially in 2007.
He's still a UK guy and I hope he lands on his feet somewhere.

While I agree this had to be the only option for UK, it is sad that a coach who attended UK and has blue in his blood and wanted to be here is now gone.
I want UK to be a destination school for a coach, and it was for Joker, it just didn't work out for him.
I have mixed emotions, but at least now we can move on and try to hire someone to come in here and work with the young talent we have.

You know, it's kind of funny, but Joker was the HC when we beat Tennessee for the first time in 26 years, beat Spurrier for the first time ever, and was a 3rd and 9 stop on the 2 yard line from potentially ruining Auburn's title two years ago.
But for every one of those moments there were blow out losses and ugly losses to teams we shouldn't lose to.
I guess it all balances out in the end. Still sad.
